Στόχος του έργου From the GroundUp: Fostering Rural Youth Participation in the EU Agenda είναι η αύξηση της ενημέρωσης σε θέματα που σχετίζονται με τις διαδικασίες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και η προώθηση της ενεργούς συμμετοχής των πολιτών -και ειδικά των νέων- από αγροτικές και περιφερειακές περιοχές της Ευρώπης στις Ευρωπαϊκές και τοπικές εκλογές.

Το έργο From the GroundUp: Fostering Rural Youth Participation in the EU Agenda είναι μια κοινή δράση φορέων από 14 κράτη μέλη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, η οποία χρηματοδοτείται από το πρόγραμμα CERV της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.

Στο πλαίσιο του έργου, το οποίο ξεκίνησε τον Ιανουάριο 2024 και θα ολοκληρωθεί τον Σεπτέμβριο 2025, θα πραγματοποιηθούν 8 εκδηλώσεις (συνέδρια, σεμινάρια κτλ) είτε μέσω διαδικτύου είτε και με φυσική παρουσία με στόχο την ευρύτερη ενημέρωση και την ανταλλαγή εμπειριών και καλών πρακτικών. Το Δίκτυο Συνεργασίας Δήμων Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Νήσων Αττικής θα οργανώσει ένα συνέδριο με φυσική παρουσία τον Σεπτέμβριο 2024 και θα φιλοξενήσει εκπροσώπους από όλους τους εταίρους του έργου.
